Calling All to Prayer

Be Still and Know

Wycliffe enters into a season of prayer this summer.  Join us as we pray for our community, region, nation and the world, as well as Wycliffe's ministries.

A guided prayer journal is available from the church office and may be picked up in the narthex on Sundays or when you're on site during the week - OR - call the office and one will be mailed to you. (757.496.2620)

Celebrate the Beauty of Creation!

How's Your Garden?

Share a photo of something from your garden so we can all enjoy the beauty of God's creation!  Flower(s), greenery, veggies - any of God's works!  They'll be used in worship on the big screen throughout the summer!

Email to the office as jpgs or pngs (and if emailing photos isn't in your skill set, swing by the office with a photo or your phone & Katie will help!)

"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it" (Psalm 24)

Children in grades 3 and up will enjoy an "Alleluia Pack" each Sunday while in worship with their family. It's filled with all sorts of goodies to keep hands busy and minds bubbling!

Make a Difference!

Sunday School Teachers

We have the perfect opportunity for you to make a difference this fall!  Join the merry band of Sunday School teachers who help our children learn about God's love.  Easy training & all curriculum & materials are provided. You just bring the love!

Our goal is to have sufficient volunteer numbers so that one only teaches twice a year.  Questions? - or to volunteer? - See Christian Education Elders Joan Horton or Stephanie Harron.

Service Opportunity

VBS VOLUNTEERS

For many adults, their memory of 'church' as a child is Vacation Bible School.  Be part of that memory this year & volunteer a few hours to make a difference in a life.

Each year Wycliffe joins with neighbors VaBeach Christian & Lynnhaven Colony to offer VBS. Each church provides at least 10 volunteers per evening & this year Wycliffe's team will include 2 to lead children to the various stations & 8 for crafts.  Can't make it every night?  That's ok - whatever works for your schedule can work for us, too.

Questions?   See Christian Education Elders Joan Horton or Stephanie Harron, or call the church office, OR if you're ready to offer a memory-making few hours -

Let Wycliffe's Light Shine!

Use Facebook

Stay on top of upcoming news & enjoy photos from recent events - or catch a Sunday sermon if you missed it or want to hear it again!

If you're a "quiet evangelist" and feel a bit too shy to invite others to church, "share" posts and let that do the talking for you!  The scriptures tell us not to 'hide our light under a basket' so "share out"!
