Who We Are
"Blessed is the one whose delight is in the law of the Lord. That person is like a tree planted by the water, yielding its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers." (Psalm 1)

The Mission of Wycliffe
-
We are God's people, called to fulfill our mission to promote and extend the unity we experience through Christ to all;
-
to provide worship to praise God and nurture souls;
-
to develop our faith to help us understand scripture and life;
-
to engage our larger community through ministries to the weak, the poor, and the marginalized; and
-
to be good stewards of God's creation.

The Presbyterian Church USA
Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century's Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with the French lawyer John Calvin (1509-1564) whose writings crystallized much of the Reformed thinking that came before him, including the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, justification by grace through faith and the priesthood of all believers.
Our salvation through Jesus is God’s generous gift to us, not the result of our accomplishments, and it's everyone’s job to share this Good News. To learn more about the Presbyterian Church, visit its website at www.pcusa.org
